Whoopi Goldberg is a comedian and entertainer, I guess. I think at one time or another, she use to be funny–at least, that’s what my grandma told me. Now, she’s mostly known for spewing her uninformed political opinions alongside other washed up comedians on ABC’s hit TV show, The View (not to be confused with The Talk–another hit TV show where washed up comedians spew uninformed political opinions.) It’s good to know that there’s still consistent work out there for washed up comedians, right?
All kidding aside, she’s a very accomplished actress. She’s one of the few performers who’ve won an Emmy Award, a Grammy Award, an Academy Award, a Tony Award, and a Nickelodeon Kid’s Choice Award*. However, the role that audiences will remember forever is her pivotal role in the 2014 reboot of Teenage Mutant Ninja-Turtles.So without further ado, here are five random things that look like Whoopi Goldberg:
1. Lil Wayne
Most people don’t know this, but Whoopi often uses Wayne’s name and persona when she’s out and about. Apparently, it’s a good way to score free drinks, hot chicks, and other various perks.
2. TarantulaSeeing as Whoopi was raised by tarantulas growing up, it’s no surprise that she turned out to look exactly like one. Indeed, the apple does not fall far from the tree.
3. Pile Of Sticks
The worst thing about fall (my favorite season) is mistakenly seeing Whoopi Goldberg on everybody’s front lawns.
4. This Dog
Rumor has it, this is the exact same picture Whoopi shows her barber when she gets a haircut.
5. Big Bird From Sesame Street
We all remember the episode of Sesame Street where Whoopi Goldberg–an avid marijuaña supporter–smoked a fat joint with Big Bird in order to show kids at home the “safe and proper” way to smoke doobies. To this day, the “Puff, Puff, Pass” song still holds up as one of Sesame Street’s best tunes.
Well, that’s all for now, folks. I’m going to go watch The View with my grandma. Thank you for taking the time to read and exist today.
*Whoopi’s beloved Kid’s Choice Award for 1994 was rebuked by Nickelodeon many years later when she publicaly came out as a stuanch defender for Bill Cosby during his controversial rape allegations.
